Because their moms taught them the simple ritual to control their fertility cycle same as their grandmothers before them. </p><p></p><p>Everyone isn't a doctor, or a chemist, but plenty of people know that ginger can settle an upset stomache or hydrogen peroxide cleans up a tee shirt you got a nosebleed on.
