I love both. Despite the fact that I almost always DM, I used to prefer Dragon. Now that Eric Mona has clarified the distinction between the two, I find that I enjoy more of the content in Dungeon more consistently. Monte Cook's Dungeoncraft is, by far, my favorite column, and when it shifted over to Dungeon, so did the balance of my preference. I rarely use the modules in Dungeon, but even getting to use three or four per year more than justifies the cost of the subscription. The comics in both magazines, particularly Tony Mosely's Zogonia and Mt. Zogon, are fantastic. Nodwick and Dork Tower are also consistently good. Dragon's Class Acts and Bazaar of the Bizarre are great, and Dragon's features are inconsistent, but when they're great, they're REALLY great. Dungeon's whole campaign workshop is the reason I read the magazine, but I do sometimes find inspiration even in the adventures I don't run. [RANT] We all make gramatical or typographical errors from time to time. That's a given. I do believe, though, that we all owe one another the respect of careful composition and some measure of proofreading before we post things that we expect others to read. I believe that this rule is doubly true for posts. So far as I know, these can't be readily edited once they post, so the mistakes made here last far too long. Please understand that I hold nothing against non-native speakers who post here. English can be a terribly difficult language, and every non-English-native-speaker whose posts I have read here have better mastery of the English language than I have of any of theirs. I have great respect for these folks. I also understand that everybody has their own dialect/idiolect, and I am tolerant of these too. We all have a right to speak (or write) in ways that reflect who we are. That said, some of the most egregious mistakes made here really make my skin crawl. They make it hard to read the posts in which they appear and they make it harder to respect the ideas they are meant to convey. Please use your language carefully. Nobody here expects that everyone's grammar always be perfect, but I ask that you take a look through your "pesky pairs," (to,two, too; their, there, they're; illicit, ellicit; discrete, discreet; etc.) check your spelling, and know, at least roughly, the definitions of the words you choose. I rave to my friends, non-gamers and gamers alike, that ENWorld is a terrific place, but this kind of sloppy editing really gets to me sometimes, and I know that there are some posters here who take much greater offence at this than I do. Eye trie two llissen too they're remarcks, butt their to heart two reed, sew eye jus gived up.
