Wilderlands Of High Fantasy

Is anyone thinking of running a Wilderlands Of High Fantasy setting for 4E?

Our group is looking at it. With all of the differrent pantheons and such, it is a bit ecletic, but it is definitely a points of light setting and would seem to fit well with 4E. In fact, it looks like WotC might have borrowed a few ideas from this setting.

Wilderlands is the best setting I have ever seen. Not so detailed that you can't add anything but not so open ended that you are doing too much work. It is also flavored in such a way that you can make it fit your style of fantasy. From Sword and Sandal to WFRP style darkness...

Head over to www.necromancergames.com and check out the previews, forum posts, etc about it.

I've thought about incorporating elements from it. It's a very good setting, and it fits the PoL paradigm. I particularly like the city-states and the races.

Easy to port over, Tieflings become Demonbrood and Dragonborn become First Men, Orichalan freaks or Lizardmen.

If I was playing 4e the Wilderlands would be my setting of choice. (Heck, it's still in my top three settings of choice for 3e.) It requires the least amount of revision to make it work according to what I've seen of 4e so far. Personally, if the Wilderlands was chosen as the official 4e setting I'd be far more inclined to purchase the new edition. What the folks over at Necromancer Games do in the future will greatly impact my decision to consider (eventually) changing editions.
