Wilderlands Question

In the top nine maps of the Wilderlands, what are the major cities?

City State of the Invincible Overlord
City State of the World Emperor
Valon
Tarantis (eastern map?)

What others? By major I mean the top one or two cities on the map.

I assume you're referring to the maps as numbered in the Wilderlands boxed set by Necromancer Games? Because the original map numbering was different.

The only one I'm really familiar with is the Elphand Lands, since that's where my campaign occurs. Damkina is sited as the population center, which is strange, since it's only got a listed population of 604. I count several other cities there with higher populations than that, including some TL 0 barbarian villages. But nothing here has a population of more than 1,000.

Map 2 is definitely Valon.
Canopusar is about 1,800 people. (hex 0813)

Map 3 is Tarsh (0206)
Also Klest (0305)
Charmack (population 2,292) (hex 1507) and Greenswabs (hex 1618) (pop: 2,004)

Map 4 - the map is named Viridistan for a reason. (population 120k)
Also Grimlon (population 3,960) (hex 5122)

Map 5 - City State of the Invincible Overlord, definitely.
Also Thunderhold (hex 2606) (population 8,000)
And Warwik (hex 3402) (population 37,600)
And Ossary (hex 4822) (population 12,800)

Map 6 - Tarantis, hex 2327, population 24,000

That's the major ones from the first 6 maps. I'm too lazy to dig through 7-9. I don't think there's much in there. 7 is mostly desert, 8 is mostly water, and 9 is mostly uninhabited.

There are only 3 city states - Valon, Viridistan, and CSIO. Of those, Viridistan is the largest.

Maps 1, 2 and 3 are relatively unpopulated.

Why do you ask?

2 more city-states: Tula, City of Wizards and Rallu, City of the Sea Princes spring to mind.

Though I'm not sure if "Top 9" maps means most popular? or most Northerly?

I'm shaping up my next campaign. I've been using the Wilderlands for a long time now, and I'm going to advance the timeline a bit. I'm thinking of having a Warhammer 40K / Dune vibe with the different city-states as analogs for the different planets. (Not direct ones, mind you. There is no direct analog for Caladan, for example.) I'm trying to pin down just how many large cities there are in the northernmost 9 maps.
