Hi,

I haven't been around for months so I am wondering if anyone has any links to threads or sites, faq's etc about Wildshape? Specifically for clarifications like what special abilities you can use etc?

AFAIK There is much speculation, wonder and suspicion on this; many people say different things.

The best I could say was that you lose all abilities such as pounce etc. like in poly morph. Oh there is this. Part of the 'Rules ofthe game, but this again is written by Sean reynolds and some people don't like/accept what he says to be canon or even sensible.

Not to picknit, but that was written by Skip Williams, not Sean Reynolds.

The rest holds true, IMHO Skip seems to be ignoreing the RAW in these articles a little too much.

Yeah, by the Sage, IIRC. And that ruling is complete nonsense, it ignores the PHB rules and causes some trouble in recalculating hp, when a druid WS into a creature not capable of wearing bracers of health, for example. /end of rant

Now as far as I remember any worn magical items cease to function and meld with the druid when he/she wildshapes. What a great way to get around a cursed item. Wildshape and then the curse no longer effects you.

You keep all attacks listed as Extraordinary. You do not get Supernatural or Spelllike ones. You also do not gain Special Qualities. (It looks like Wizards' attempt to make these types of topics clear failed; I see alot of questions like this)

Simple as that.

Do you have an example creature you are specifically wondering about?
