They said the board that last rated has to request to go to the APDAB (Appeals Board), that my wife can't.I was sure that this has all been a bunch of hogwash, looks like it is.BTW, let your friend know that I was well aware I was on the slow boat to china, but I started with what I knew, and as I have learned more my efforts are becoming more effective. I am sure the Washington DAV will be the help I need. I do think it is pretty bad that the local DAV (of which I have been a member of the DAV for 4 years now) was so unaware that even they didn't know about appealing to the board in Washington. Otherwise I would have known to call the DAV in Washington last week, when I talked to the local DAV offices. But your friend, and the Old One, have given me a couple of very important tools with which to handle this. So thanks, a lot, a whole lot.</blockquote>
