Winners of custom character portraits announced!

Klaus

First Post
Hello, all!

As I promised, I'm making a character portrait for each of two randmly selected contributors to the EN World Maintenance Fund. Well, here are the lucky winners:

- Darren Aldredge

- Abraxas

I have contacted them both by e-mail as well, so they can post the description of their characters here so I can get to making the portraits.

Once again, thanks for helping EN World!

This is great.
I was glad to help out so I could keep reading Piratecat's SH, and this is just icing on the cake :D.
I'll be posting my character description tonight or tomorrow (I've got to decide which one I would more like to see).

Thanks

Grymjak

Grymjak wears bejeweled Banded Mail of Luck covered by a sand colored tabard edged in red. Prayers to Hathor are embroidered in the edging. His belt is a belt of giant strength made of leather and bone. A spell component pouch is on his right hip.

He carries a heavy steel shield on his left arm. It is shaped like an elongated rounded triangle pointing downward. It has the symbol of Hathor engraved on its surface.

His weapon of choice is Leap of Faith, his trusty morning star (acts as a ring of jumping and featherfall). The business end is cylidrical (instead of spherical). He also wears a Gauntlet of Rust on his right hand.

In general, yes.

When I started the character he wore a chain shirt, with a mantelet and the skirt thingy you always see in the movies - but he never wore the pharoh style headgear. When he acquired the banded mail, I couldn't quite picture him wearing those over the armor so he switched to the tabard.

If you could give him an nice egyptian look that would be great.

Well I just recieved an email containing the character portrait of Grymjak and I must say he looks great :D

CP did a great job, as soon as I saw the image, it clicked that it was indeed Grymjak. I love the details. Its going on the front cover of my character folder.
