Wisdom in the Flesh and Armor Check Penalty

Question: If you take the Wisdom in the Flesh trait for a skill that ordinarily takes an armor check penalty, do you still suffer the ACP?

The equipment chapter says ACP applies to Dex & Str-based skills, and Wisdom in the Flesh effectively makes the skill a Wis-based skill. But I'm not entirely sure it makes sense in any way except as a "RAW" kind of thing. (Your hours of meditation don't make the armor any less hindering, for instance.)

And you could argue that the skill is still Dex/Str-based -- the description just says you use Wis instead of Dex/Str, not something like "makes it Wisdom-based".

So, which is it? Skill + Wisdom in the Flesh => ACP or no ACP?

I tend towards saying you'd still have to take the ACP, but I'm not sure.

(I also posted this on Paizo's site, but since I don't post there much, I figured I'd try here, too.)

After looking at the trait, it appears that the change to wisdom is intended to allow you to use a higher ability score to modify the skill chosen (in this case your wisdom score). It says nothing about removing any penalties for using the skill. The armor check penalty applies to the skill not the ability which modifies it.

I would have to say that these penalties apply as normal for the skill in question.
