Wish Spell usage

Hi,

Is it feasible when using a Wish to say :

"I wish if i die to return back to life again 5 minutes later " ?

Or anytime in the future, the reason for this is that the person with the Wish for when they do die, their boby is teleport somewhere else.

Cheers
Z

Sounds like the equivalent of a contingency raise dead with a delay attached. I'd certainly allow it.

I was thinking the same. If it carries the Raise Dead penalties, it certainly isn't too powerful to be a Wish IMO.

While it's entirely possible (IMO) it would be cheaper, XP-wise, for you to just cast Contingency-trigger: when you die-and then use Limited Wish to duplicate Raise Dead or Revivify and attach that to the contingency. 300xp is a far lesser price to pay than 5000.

Either way...just my 2 cp

While it would be more expensive, I would think that Wish could be useful for getting rid of some of the more annoying limitation of Contingency. For example, you could Wish it so that you don't need to continuously carry the focus around the entire time, or that the spell was an instantaneous affect (so it would have no duration, and could not be dispelled). Also, casting it as a Wish spell would presumably get around the limitation of one Contingency at a time.

If you want to avoid the annoying limitations of contingency, then make friends with the Craft Contingency feat from the Complete Arcane. It's brokenly good!

I would allow it, but only as a raise dead. If you are killed with a death effect, or your body isn't all in one piece, then, sorry man, you are SOL.

Just a suggestion, make the spell delay for one day and one hour. That way, if your party can prepare and cast True Res on you, you won't lose a level, because raise dead will fizzle.
