Very nicely worded wish...remind me to never let you in a game where I offer them :) I used 'strikeout' to highlight the words that are extraneous... Three options: - One, key in on just the intent for an inherent bonus as shown by the game term struck out above, and grant an inherent bonus to Dex per the rules of the Wish spell..a +1. Advantage is you get to use it for all Dex based. Disadvangtage is this doesn't really fit what the wish is asking for and probably wouldn't be the route I take. - Two, key in on inherent and skill facets, provide a +5 inherent bonus to tumble. As with the RAW for inherent ability boosts, you could stack up to 5 wishes in immediate succession to increase this to a total of an inherent +25. As you body is being magically manipulated to be better at this one thing, your physical appearance would reflect this to a degree. No mechanical disadvatages would be incurred..as stated in the wish.. but some social impacts and a higher cost for fitted equipment may occasionally show up. These would not be trade-offs or disabilities.. they are simply the practicality of having a body hyper-evolved for a specific task...mainly RP in nature. - Three, key in on just the increase of the Tumble skill.. run it as using 2 spells: Permanancy (a 10 MP effect) and EoM Infuse: Air at 6 MP {16MP is equivilent to an 8th level spell}, granting a +21 to Tumble. This effect can be affected by anti-magic, dispelled and counts as an active enhancement towards the EoMs rules for having no more than 12 enhancements or items {EoMs limitation as opposed to using slots} Side note: I use alt-tumble of result of check = AC. Opponent gets +10 to thier attack if you are tumbling through thier square..attack must also beat your normal AC to deal damage. This wish would allow you to do accelerated tumbles through an enemies square relatively easily...but still not guarenteed. Other side note: A pure EoM Infuse: Air for 16MP would grants a +52 to Tumble for one minute... :) Talk about a tumbing fool! Last side note: Yes, a 17th level EoM caster could permanance the +52 bonus, but I am mixing Core and EoM :) Of those three options, my preference is #2.. it adds an interesting RP opportunity, fulfills the wish as spoken, and gives a decent advantage that is not a 'always win'.
