I am doing much better, but still have up and down days with almost no energy reserve. Most of the soreness is gone (I quit the Vicodin after the second day home because too much of it makes me really nauseated) so things have been a little slower on the moving around and picking things up. I go back to the doctor on Thursday so hopefully I will get the word that everything is doing what it is supposed to do despite stillbeing stuck on soft food. Of course the fun thing now is all the bruising from the i.v.'s. and surgery. Right now, my arms are a nice shade of yellow, purple and brown, not to mention the four scars on my stomach.
