I rented the first disc via Netflix, and I enjoyed it a great deal. I'd prefer a bit more explanation in the first few episodes, but I'm also used to that in anime; explanations will probably be forthcoming. I've never watched the episodes on Cartoon Network so I'll be slowly working my way through the series. Chara: So far, I like pretty much everyone in the cast. The director is an interesting character... I wonder how he can get away with such a major policy change for the Japanese branch, and where the paranormals ('witches') go who get put in the big containers. Hmm. Usually that's a sign someone is Up To No Good. Amon.. mm, Amon. And I like Robin a lot, as well. Obvious romantic tension of a sort between her and Amon, and perhaps her and the hacker kid as well; I wonder if Robin is still keeping her vows or if she's left the convent. The poor hacker kid, who can never leave the building unless someone is with him... I feel for him. Plots: Very good. And prime candidates for a GURPS Psionics game idea. I'm eager to find out what this Orbo stuff does, why Robin thinks it's disgusting, and what the 'normal' organization is like. Eager to find out why the normal organization kills 'witches' and how they differ from the trained psionics the STN employs, along with true witches like Robin. I'll definately be getting more of this series.
