Message: <blockquote data-quote="DEFCON 1" data-source="post: 7964038" data-attributes="member: 7006">Well, I've made the same argument to gyor the last 37 times gyor has made the argument that a full-on campaign setting book HAS to happen... so it's a dance neither of us is unfamiliar with.But just to point something out... the book they made for Eberron has almost nothing new in it.  It's all the same historical information they have written in their 4E and 3.5 books.  Thus making it much easier to <s>copy</s> um, I mean write those sections.And as far as MTG?  Those are NEW setting books.  RPG players don't have 30 years of past Ravnica or Theros material to use for their Ravnica or Theros game.  As opposed to the Realms player who wanted to run a game in Turmish-- they have more than 30 years of Turmish details from all kinds of places and books they have probably never even looked at, let alone used... so any bit of past Turmish detail could be used for their potential game right now.Unless of course their game doesn't actually matter and what matters is their history book.  But if that's the case, then they are and will continually be disappointed.</blockquote>
