(Many Feats in the Complete Arcane allow you to cast several 0 and 1st level spells as spell-like abilities once per day) but its a bit late for that, and as said before, currently to make your character more effective, Practiced Spellcaster is the way to go (adds 4 to a spellcasting level up to your level)However, might I suggest a Feat that allows you to take another favored class (I think there are one or two floating around), and pick up another Spellcasting Class without risking an XP penalty. A couple levels of Favoured Soul and you would have a arsenal of low-level spells. True! one-on-one a straight Mage will probably fry you, but you will have bunches more Utility Spells to play with, and that seems to be what you want.I for one cant really knock it if you have fun with it...</blockquote>
