Hm. You could make their lives difficult by...um... I know - giving them tons and tons of platinum that they'd have to carry somewhere. And of course there's all the disadvantages associated with immense wealth - winters on the Nyr Dyv, summers in the Lendores, charity donations, etc.

That'd show 'em!

How about I make it a Platinum GOLEM, and we'll call it even? You kill it, you loot it. It's worked before.

Did you know that there are DMs in impoverished nations who can't afford Dungeons and Dragons? It's true, they can only get one of them.
