I've only even run one adventure as published (Red Hand of Doom); the rest of the time it's been ingredients all the way. The adventures for 5e feel more designed that way than before though. Even Eve of Ruin is mostly a selection of item quests set in interesting locations, each of which could be adapted for use in an unrelated adventure. (Watch me try hard to keep this tangent attached to the thread topic...)So, to build on that food analogy, I think the quality of the ingredients has improved even thought the palatability of the overall comestible may not necessarily have.</blockquote>
