There's a little part of me that died inside when I realized this wasn't an April Fool's post. Wizards vs. Vampires = cool campaign idea. Wizards of Waverly Place = most mind-numbing and annoying of the Disney Channel kids/teeny-bopper shows my kids subject me to. It makes Suite Life on Deck look like Shakespearean drama... Jokes, aside, have fun. However, it looks like I'm busy every conceivable time such a game could occur. Note: Anything below this line is me busting on the show, not the OP. As I said, have fun with it if it floats your boat.! ===================================================== And for those unfamiliar with it, here's the "pitch" I assume happened in Disney's studios when the show was born: "Well it's like Harry Potter in that it's teenage wizards so we can totally capture that demographic. But to avoid a lawsuit, instead of being taught at a wizard's school, the kids learn from their wizard parents. Get it? That way we also capture the whole wacky family hijinks of Hanah Montana. Of course, we can also do cross marketing with special guest star appearances and crossovers from Suite Life on Deck and Hanah Montana, so we can't possibly lose. Then of course there's Disney Channel movies and I'm sure we can get at least one of the kid stars who can sing passably well enough for a Disney Channel music video." :hmm: "What? Oh, yeah, we'll need writers and actors, too. Who can we get really cheap? We want to get this made for less than a reality TV show." Actually, the realization that I've seen enough of the show, in particular, and Disney Channel, in general, to write the summary above caused a little bit of me to die inside as well. :o Oh, yeah, and Disney marketing research shows that our core audience loves, emoticons. Use lots of emoticons...
