G'day fellow gaming brethren both US and non, Sounds to me like all us non-US gamers need to switch RPGs - hey guys over at White Wolf, how's your international relations reputation? The assertion that they can't poll non-US gamers is crap, the fact is they can't be bothered doing it. I keep having it pointed out to me that the US is where the market share is, let's see how they fare if all the non-US gamers turn around and walk away from WoTC products - have at your market share then chumps. I'm in Australia and I've been getting short changed by WoTC for years, why should I expect it to change any time soon? We couldn't use their online store but could buy from other online retailers based in the US. We can't enter their competitions but other US based RPG companies allow non-US residents to participate in their competitions. The RPGA was less than useful for us for years. Hey WoTC, why don't you try improving your relationship with the international community, you might find that your market share internationally actually improves. How about a competition specific to the Asia/Pacific region etc - it's not hard to make an effort to make all your customers happy and the returns usually more than justify the effort and expense. Putting 2nd and previous editions aside I have purchased every core D&D, Realms and Eberron product that has been released since the advent of 3.0 and most of the D20Modern, and Star Wars range, throw in a few hundred bucks worth of WoTC mini's and the odd single release product (Wheel of Time etc) and all this amounts to my opinion with the bean counters at WoTC being worth absolutely nothing. WoTC seem intent on making two classes of gamer. This is not a US bash so please don't take it as one. Have a good day all no matter where in the world you are (hey hold on, can I actually say that on this Board? Yep, just checked, it's only the WoTC boards that find it too difficult to accomodate the ravings and rantings of us internationals.) ;-P> Cheers Daz
