So Neverwinter is still on the release block? Cool. Plus Garmore Abbey, Shadowfell, Monster Vault Nentir, and Heroes of Shadow. Eh....not the death of 4e. The sky isn't falling?

They also have a new board game -- Conquest of Nerath.

C.I.D.

RPG-wise, we have (so far):

April: Heroes of Shadow
May: Shadowfell: Gloomwrought and beyond
June: Monster Vault: Threats to the Nentir Vale
June: Dungeon Tiles: Witchlight Fens
August: Neverwinter Campaign Setting
September: Madness at Gardmore Abbey super-adventure

So this confirms the Maddness of Gardmore Abbey, the board game, and the NW campaing setting (which I was starting to doubt). I can probably go ahead and just strik the Nentir Vale Gazeteer off the list.

Notably absent: Player's Option Handbook: Champions of the Heroic Tier.

DDXP is just a few days away, so we might get some confirmation on that and some more anouncements.

Nope, the sky isn't falling! :)

What struck me the most is that we're back to a regular schedule in April. So it sounds like they rethought some products, decided to regroup, and they'll be back on track soon enough.

Looking forward to possible product announcements from D&D Experience.

My guess is they looked at the particular books they bounced and thought... Hrmm... These WOULD make good magazine articles... and if released would probably only heighten the "You made my PHB1 Invalid Essentials is 4.5!!!!" claims...

I'm also thinking we're going to see a lot less splat type books being released physically.

That might be good, actually. The splat books undoubtedly have a lot of "filler" material that was put there just to meet word count. I think the overall product will be better if that's the case.
