My son has been begging for some new minis but the booster sets are $16 so I often say "No". But yesterday for his birthday we went and picked up a Tyranny of Dragons booster. He was psyched. So he opens it up at home and we discover that one is missing an arm: Along with the black shadow dragon that came along with it (awesome) this lil guy is his favorite. But the arm is gone and he was disappointed. But being one he really likes I could tell he was just trying to convince himself to like it with just the one arm (oh to have his indomitable spirit). Anyway, he might try to justify it but I really want to fix this problem. If you're going to make us buy your minis sight unseen, at the very least give us one that has all it's appendages! Here's what I was thinking. He already loves what he has from the booster. If we take it back to the store to replace it, I seriously doubt they're going to tear through each box just to find the one little guy, much less find all the ones he has from this particular booster. (Heck, I don't even know if they'd take these back in the first place now that the box has been opened, etc. They're not the most friendly of your FLGS). So I figured I'd contact WizKids directly. But I didn't find exactly how to contact them via their site for such a problem as this (perhaps I simply missed it?). So I sent them a facebook message with the pic. Do you think that is enough, or do any of you know a better way to contact them for a problem like this? What would you do?
