At the pier "Still, it troubles me that someone else would know the rites I provided to you, and could follow them with such exacting measure," the gentleman says as he turns to return to his car. He motions to his driver, who opens the door for him. After closing the door for his master, he returns around the backside of the car quickly and returns to his station behind the wheel. After the car pulls away, the wiry man and his companion head begin walking away from the car they were seated on. Out of the parking lot, into an alley, where -- once out of sight -- they slowly dissemble, like liquid flesh, into one another... and ooze down into a common sewer grate. On the streets of New York Elias huddled in an alleyway, shivering, rocking back and forth... The fury gone, he clutched himself tightly, full knowledge of the savage nature of his evening thus far striking him hard. Already mad with grief from the vicious murder of Helene, his youngest, he know had the blood of two innocents on his hands... "I.... it wasn't me -- it was It... It's not my fault," Elias mumbled, rocking back and forth. "Oh, but it is, Elias. You should have stopped it. At the Maze The Prince begins his rounds about the party, beginning first with the owner of the establishment. The overall air of the party has muted itself slightly, as the watchful eye of Rait remains perched over all, his hulking form still standing at the entry-way. *** Melody *** "I'm sure I will -- your establishment has an excellent reputation, and heaps good fortune upon its proprietor's name," Prince Morgan responds, bowing slightly to you. "It also does you well to be under the name of such a gracious servant as your Sire. I must speak with him in private, however -- you understand, I'm sure."
