Woo-hoo! I hadn't even realized it was out yet...

I just noticed that the EN World store began selling copies of The Doom of Listonshire a few days ago. :D (And I assume that means it's now available elsewhere, as well.)

I can't even begin to go into how excited I am about this. This is my first project for Necromancer, one of the companies I really respect, and one of the few I hadn't yet done work for. Second only to my first WotC gig, this is the most exciting release for me in the past year, if not longer.

I really hope this is well received, but I'm proud of the work I put into it even if it's not. :)

Heck of a bit of news to start the Turkey Day holiday. I originally thought I was going to have to wait until sometime next year.

(Now if only my author's copies would arrive...)

Ari, I've got to ask:

How have you had time to post recently? Your work seems to have been popping up everywhere!

Congratulations! :D

Cheers!

Well, I'm greatly helped by the fact that I have no life beyond my computer. ;)

When RPGs are both one's profession and one's primary hobby, it grants one a substantial amount of focus. ;)

Sounds interesting, but I was a little confused. In particular, what levels is it appropriate for?

I'm not sure if it's cool to ask you about your own work . . . I can check the back when it gets into stores, assuming it's going to be printed too.

I have no life beyond the computer either. At least when I'm not REALLY working. :p But still you make it seem so easy Ari. ;) Kudos.

'tis indeed a printed work. In fact, I don't think it's available as PDF. It's available through EN World's RPG shop, not the online PDF store. Sorry if that wasn't clear. :heh:

And sure, I don't mind people asking me about it. It's roughly a 5th to 7th-level adventure, varying by party size.

I've got a 4th-5th level party nearing the end of a quest . . .

Sounds like a cool premise for an adventure . . . I'm definitely going to check it out, and see if it fits the storyline/background for the campaign.

That's always the test for me:
- right level (does it fit at all, without tons of work)
- sounds "cool" (hard to measure, but I know it when I see it, 70% of the time from the rough description of what it's about)
- does it fit for my campaign/can I make it fit (that's generally the difference between buying and trying to use it, versus buying and shelving).
