When I want to want to emphasize a word, I make it bigger. I hate it when amateur sign makers emphasize things with quotation marks. Wednesday is "Bargain" Day.

I wouldn't mind if they'd all learn to spell, too.

Another rule for comic letterers and writers: Never use the word FLICK

This was actually a rule for a while, because the letters could run together and easily look like a four-letter word.
