I've noted that according to the DMG, one can have another spellcaster cast the prerequsite spells for the item you're creating.

Can spellcasters "share" feats as well? I.e., if one has "craft wonderous item" and another has "craft weapons & armor", could that group make Bracers of Archery?

Yes (working from 3.0 DMG here). The precise language in that section says "... with each participant providing one or more of the prerequisites". Although the examples deal with spells, the rule itself applies to any prerequisites, including feats.
