But despite the general squallor of this town, it did have a great deal of things from all over the world, as well as a great deal of people as well.*</p><p></p><p>*And a place such as this <em>needed</em> adventurers, and needed them badly. The Adventurer's Guild here would certainly be able to place you, or at least tell you where a hero was needed. But in the interim, if you needed to quench your thirst, there are a myriad of bars to attend. The Drunk Duck looks fairly amusing, as there is indeed a tipsy duck that wanders up and down the bar all night long. And it has a bard of some talent performing nightly. There's also the Inn of the Green Man, which specializes in an odd green beer, the Drowned Man, a very rough place where down-on-their luck sailors go in the hopes of convincing a pirate captain to take them.*</p></blockquote><p></p>
