The PCs are employed by one of the major players in such a system as 'spec ops' or mercenaries to help fight small scale border wars, maybe in proxy states that have useful resources, but not much development (in the magical sense mostly). </p><p></p><p>Other elements of course can be designed as one sees fit.</p></blockquote><p></p>
