If you can do it with a core class or multiclass with the proper skill and feat selection, don't make a Prestige Class.  All the archer prestige classes and the Cavalier come to mind.However, the one that stands out above all others is the Ghostwalker. Anti-heroes are so ridiculously cliche'd, and as nothing more than a roleplaying concept they do not deserve their own class. The class's abilities have no unified concept or reason for existing together.I also hate most wizard and sorc prestige classes. Give up nothing for something. Way to go, guys. I'm much more likely to like anything with 1/2 spellcaster progression, but the Mystic and the Eldritch Master stand out here head and shoulders above the other magic-using prestige classes.</blockquote>
