DarkLord Of DForce
First Post
First of all, where did it go? I was going to post a comment there and I can't find the War of the Burning Sky forum anymore...
Anyways, I guess I'll just post it here, and if the moderator wants, move it to where it appropriate. Thanks.
I'm running a level 6 BattleCleric, and we just did the final battle at the end of the first module, at the Fiery Forest. (we're level 6 because our DM got the level up rate wrong, so we'll be at 6 until we actually catch up to where we are supposed to be in the 2nd module).
Anyways, even with the slightly higher level characters, we had some real problems in that last battle. I was the only leader class in the party at the time.
First round, some wizard dominates my character. My turn, I fail the saving throw on the domination, then on the failed saving throw, I'm dominated for ->15<- minutes, no save.
Things got really bad and ugly after that, I mean your 4 player group is already grossly outnumbered. I'm fairly sure it would have been a TPK if I hadn't told the other players (technically illegal I know, since I was dominated), to kill the wizard and end the effect.
Doesn't this seem a wee bit overpowered?
The DM told us afterwards that we were really supposed to flee this encounter, but still....
