The Races of Faerun *MIGHT* make it onto my bookshelf, but if it's minimal fluff with tons of stats/crunch (like Faiths & Pantheons is)...I'll definitely pass... The other 3 hold no interest for me whatsoever. I've never had the need for all the gazillions of silly D&D monsters...barring a few classics like the Beholder's, Mind Flayer's etc...most of my foes are human/oid/giants,beasts, an occasional demon/devil, and undead...things derived from mythology and legend or classic fantasy writing.... Equipment guides are lost on me as well, unless we are talking a Sci-fi/SW campaign or a modern era game. If I did want to buy one though, the one Kenzer is putting out looks to be the ultimate for such things.... EDIT: I agree..I wish they WOULD let Eddie G do more Realms books...TSM was great...best FR book since the FRCS....F&P was a dissapointment, and LoD was uninspiring...Magof Faerun was an interesting read, but not terribly useful for me... I LOVE MotP however..great book, best "core" book WOTC has done...I also didn't think OA was particularly good other than to mine for a few monsters (though subsequent Rokugan stuff is very nice), and while I am not a fan of Psionics, I didn't feel the book was compelling enough to give them another try..... Thank the stars for the D20/OGL stuff...WOTC just does not put out anything or plan on putting out anything that matches my own tastes/needs lately....
