The thing are far worse than what you think. The signs are there, but nobody successfully made the connection. Actually, the goal of D&D 4th edition is to provide Their agents with an innocuous looking, disguised spellbook. As a well known private eye and investigator has found out, D&D may permit you to learn real spells. But you have to decode the book carefully with a key hidden in d20 Modern in order to read spell. The key is subliminally hidden in the FX chapter, if you look at it as if it was a stereographic picture, you may catch it. They use these spells for mind-control purpose. Sadly for them, Real Magic is dangerous to use. That's what inspired them for the damaging spells in CoC and the Book of Vile Darkness. The revision, and the 4th edition (who are one and the same: "forth edition", it's a code) was written after They realized some breakthrough in arcane manipulations. They are aliens. The Roswell Creature. The Grey. They are Them. Their ultimate goal is to resurrect their leader on Earth, the overpatriarch Elvis Presley (whom everyone knows his connection with aliens since rumors have leaked about his frequent jaunts on Mars). Then Elvis Reborn would lead an army of warrior-clones (the Star Wars movie episode 2 was just a ploy to subliminally force people into hopelessness when They'll release their clone armies) to take over the world. To this purpose, They'll use the cloning technology of the Raelian sect (a mere pawn in Their hands), but they have discovered they need a potent relic lost in the sand of ancient Babylonia -- today's Iraq. That's why They sent inspectors with the secret mission of bringing that relic, and why They'll also ordered an attack of occupation in case inspections were not enough. The power of the relic is equivalent to that of the Ark Covenant, which was searched for also (the Indiana Jones movie was just a way to broadcast Their orders to Their moles and agents everywhere). Note the connection between Lucas and Spielberg. Other films by them were also made to influence the mass' opinion on extraterrestrian creatures (ET, Encounter of the 3rd Type...). But they'll have yet other plans to Their infamous genetech magic. Have you noticed Their insistance for WotC to put Desmodus everywhere ? It's one of the species of überwarriors They plan to create in order to take over the world. Other likely candidates for creation are the Loxo and the Gelatinous Cube. Be afraid, be very afraid.
