WotC, really? No...really? You can't maintain a publishing schedule?

Browser Settings Incompatible A little history. Waaay back in the day, WotC revoked the license for Paizo to publish these magazines. Whatever, it's WotC property and they can do what they like with it. They brought the magazines in house and made them digital. (I suspect everyone reading this knows this bit of history.) Their initial ramp up was VERY poor to say the least. It seemed as though they did not have a real plan on how to actually go about doing the thing they commited to do (publish these two magazines). Amount of content was poor (less than the content provided by their own free offerings...I have, or had if deleted, a post on their forums that counted the wordcount of the magazines...this is data driven, not idle speculation). The magazines were sparse, and the content leaked out seemingly "whenver the heck it was ready". This lead to huge swings in content as the magazines got stronger. Some months there were huge while the next month was very sparse and poor. Content might come out on a given day or not...and customer would have to check the site to see if anything came out...often to find nothing. So, their messageboard community, lead by Mudbunny, the volunteer representative, and myself, to a small degree as one of his news guides to put some pressure on them...asking them to produce the magazines with some professionalism. Our requests: 1. Let us have the table of contents in advance. 2. Maintain a publishing schedule so people know whether to check for new content or not. In short, run these magazines like magazines...not like free content they feel like putting out. I see this recent backpedal to release material off of a real schedule as a way to decrease quality, decrease accountability to customers, and in general offer a sloppier product. Please, WotC....if you're going to make these magazines...at least do a good job with them.
