I had no idea, but someone's pointing out it'll be of the Weapon of Legacy series... I'll have to see that first. Another adv. path like the one of the first year could be very nice, but of course it depends on both the cool factor and the plot depth. The fact that it is FR specific may not be a problem IMO. Seemed clear by the title that this was with Heroes of Battle. Let's see first what comes out of the first, at the moment HoH sounds to me like it would cover more gothic adventures, or something with a "fear theme", similar to CoC or Ravenloft. No opinion yet. Next! No idea. There was already a box set of the 3 core books, and a basic game. What else are they planning? Maybe something in between? A box with the PHB + 1 ready adventure + minis? I doubt I am in the customer range of this sort of products. Pretty straightforward. This new series could be very good, but I hope the books are SMALL. Having a cheap <50pp booklet with a plug-in detailed location is nice, but I doubt I would buy anything larger, since other books have locations as well. Bahh.... this means that Champions of Ruin is just a FR version of BoVD, and CoV is the equivalent of BoED. Most likely another book of crunch I'll never buy. I am tired of this kind of stuff. Sounds like a single book to include all* 3.5 spells from a number of sources (but which I don't know), just to have them all together. Very likely to update some 3.0 spells which haven't been covered yet and obviously to add another bunch to attract those who have all the others. Maybe we should bet about this book having a new version of Polymorph? :] I wonder if this is the start of a new series as mentioned... will there be a Feat Compendium and a Prestige Class Compendium? Not impossible. *someone wrote this is only book I however!
