If those new rules fail, it runs the risk of being another book of martial feats/spells/prestige classes/magic items.  :\ Champions of Ruin There was already a book devoted to evil campaigns, and it was fairly setting-generic, what's the point of making a FR-specific one? There was also a FR book about evil organizations in Faerun long ago, with very little that required a 3.5 conversion. What's the point of this book? Ah wait! Furthermore, a book entirely devoted to one city can of course be reused in any setting with perhaps not too huge modifications.Maelstrom Well I haven't checked out the first in the series yet, so I don't know how much of this book is going to be actual rules (which I'd definitely like) or just crumbs.
