Well, you did ask for things that are around when you were a kid. Even those two were around, though they originated way before you were born. Of course, He-Man was launched in the 80's and is now making a comeback. I also remembered playing Ultima which today is now one of those dreadful wallet-draining MMORPG. Talk about gullible, the same folks who thinks we should pay more if we want healthy food (and I'm talking about the consumers) ... like a $3.50 for a small baguette sandwich at BK. I mean duh, how are we Americans are going to lose our obesity when the Whopper Jr is just 99 cents. $3.50? 99 cents? You do the math, consumers! But I digress... :p Let's face it. For most of us Children of the 80's, we get nostalgic about the stuff we grew up with and we have the opportunity to share our enjoyment with the new generation, albeit adapted for the new millenium ... all because of Retro. Heck, I remembered when I was growing up, I was fond of the 50's and the doo-wop era. Of course, it helped when my class of '87 won three years in a row in a song contest singing doo-wop songs (one of the many school spirit event craps we do), and my classmate had a '55 Plymouth (a predecessor to the '57 Chevy) that was still running. On-Topic... The GI JOE, which is now revamped as GI JOE vs. COBRA line, would make TCG an even hot product trend. I know a lot of friends who are fans of Cobra Commander and Serpentor, the Cobra Emperor, and would like nothing but to put down a few JOE's out of commission. :D
