I think this is a great idea.  In fact I wish more "campaign settings" were set up this way.  For example, set up a an entire region of the FR with a long adventure for the PCs.  As many people have post, I also have a hard time putting together my own home brew stuff, so much of what I play is doctored from existing material, so something like this that is made with quality would be very appealing.  As far as railroading, in a way my PCs are railroaded for every adventure.  If they don't feel like following the adventure threads I lay out, then there really isn't a game.  I don't think it would be impossible to have more products like this.  For example, in my "spare" time, I've been writing something that spans brings my characters from 12th to 20th level.  But this is more notes.  I'd love to spend $60 to spare myself the time for something my players and myself would enjoy.  When I envision this, I picture something like the Desert of Desolation module.  It is a small campaing setting on to itself.  I don't think something of this scale can be so generic that it fits anywhere, but rather that is it's own small setting.  I've been tempted by this idea myself.  Of course with the financial backing I have, I'd be able to offer a word document at best.  But now I feel like I'm beginning to ramble.</blockquote>
