The group I'm currently in is about to stop another DM's adventure midway through due to the group not enjoying the current game. This has never happened before. It is not a sure thing that we are going to stop but it looks like it will happen. I'm the next DM.  Here's the question. I want to send an email out to the group to get some prep done for my game. I plan on putting in the email that this is for whenever we finish the currrent game, whenever that my be. I talked to two people in the group and they say it would be bad to send out the email before we have ended the current game. I don't see where it would be that bad to do. It's not like I'm saying that we have to quit the current game and start mine. I just want to get some of the prep work done. I want to find out what people will be playing, give some background, etc.   What do others think? Should I wait? Would you as the current DM be offended? Thanks for your comments.Beldar</blockquote>
