Its probably the best choice for secondary at-will, specially when I am already granting CA, or when I really want to hurt someone (orcs!). I was about to drop Sweeping Blow for Blinding Smash, but combined with Come and Get it... hummmm...  Klaus, I am very happy with my hammer, and my dice agrees with me. I agree that use an Axe for Sweeping Blow is VERY tempting. Your suggestion of armor is very good and usefull when we are ambushed (happens a lot lol), but our DM suggested me to consider Plate. I am very satisfied with Scale, having good protection and no check penalty.
