Would you play your game here?

Would you bring your game to a store where you pay to play?

I don't even shop at an LGS. And I've never played at one for free, so I can't even imagine a situation where I'd want to actually shell out money for it.

All that said, I did occasionally turn off the heat on a given freezing night when there were no paying customers in sight and all I had were freeloaders in the store. "Hey Rich, it's cold in here."

"Yes, that's why I'm wearing my coat."

Hehehehe. :p Great anecdote. :]

Almost every gaming store that I have either worked in or patronized had a section where the customers could play. There were tables, and all of the other assorted needs... and they were all pay-to-play... and they were ALWAYS busy, with a line waiting. If that need is being filled on a smaller scale in little shops all around the area, who wouldn't they be successful on their own? All that would be needed is to ensure that the tables met the gamers needs.
