These being the Ultimate Game Designers Handbook (for the Grim and Gritty system), and their Strongholds and Dynasties (for designing my PC's town). I recently even went out of my way to purchase a copy of Paranoia, which is actually BETTER than the earlier versions of the game. So I will no longer bash Mongoose.I own at least seven hardback monster books. I've not even scratched the surface of the creatures available in them to include in my gaming, however if Mongoose (whose chief editor has sworn up and down is going to improve their editing) produces the great monster book of all monster books I would certainly give it a look. I believe it’s unfair to demand color art from such a project as a requirement for purchase as there isn't any possible way a company could produce a 1000 pg product and make it color for $100.00 and still turn any kind of profit. My WLD book has received a lot of handling and use, and at 840 pages the binding is holding together just fine. So if Mongoose is reading this thread I say kudos and good luck, if you produce a solid quality product you likely have a customer in me.</blockquote>
