[QUOTE="discjacker, post: 173689, member: 4293"] Ha...that tale takes me back to another string of lucky criticals a player of mine had nearly two years ago(Palladium Fantasy) The player was a lowly alter boy who had been continuoulsy abused both sexually and physically by the church high priest (all the gods in this world were evil bastards) anyway long story short. The PC's liberated the player from his gimp like existence and were about to escape the area when they found there way blocked by the HIgh Priest mounted upon his dragon like mount (non-intellegent flyind scaled snake thing) Most of the party was already pretty wounded, the High priest was wearing full plate. In an act of desperation the acolyte finally got the reolve to strike back against his cruel master. He nocked and made a "called shot" for the visor opening of the helm rolls the die acorss the table it spins for ever then comes up natural 20m, a cheer spreads around the table. Not done yet though, at the time we wheree using a critical hit list (homebrewed) he rolled % and got 100 Head shot instant death Killed the imensely powerfull priest in one shot. Battle not over yet the priests body falls lifeless to the ground and the dragon like thing flys low to the ground towards them. Group moves to engage dragon thing, lowly acolyte knocks second arrow. The Dragon thing streaks overhead and after reaching the group turns and flys up over them gaining altitute for a dive. PC acolyte: "Can I see it's Ass?" ME: "yup its tail is giving it some protection" PC" "I'll make a called shot for its ass" ME: You sure it will be a hard shot?" PC: "yeah i'm sure" rolls die Natural 20 critical stike table 4x damage severe internal wounds. Of course I almost got him back with a spray of loosened excremate. PC acolyte recovers first arrow dubs it headscourge has it magically reconstructed, Also recovered (messily) the second arrow and had it magically reconstructed and dubbed it "Assbiter" that was a great session.
