Amazon.co.uk now says estimated date of delivery October 29th. Why, I have no clue.
I think there seem to be problems getting product into the UK distribution system. WotC's September releases were repeatedly pushed back in the UK and - as far as I can tell - weren't available anywhere over here until 1st October, rather than 16th or 17th September as had been expected.

I can't guess what the problems might be, but perhaps they're also affecting third-party products in October.

Could be. But since Mongoose is based in the UK (afaik), I figured that it might not have the same issues as the other companies, which are mostly, if not all, US based.

Cheers

There's a really good chance they print and warehouse in the US, though. Most of their customers are likely here, and shipping the bulk of your product around inside one country is easier than a lot of customs officials and ports of entry problems.

I had my local shop order it on Tuesday and he got it in Friday.

The book is mostly fluff with little crunch.

I like the fact that it makes the acquisition of magic and equipment counter to the flow of the adventure. What I mean is that you usually dont have time to "stop and loot the bodies". But the SpellCom (the group that supports your SpecOps efforts) keeps you supplied with what you need.

I am going to make characters with my group tomorrow and try to get a game going sometime next week.
