D&D 5E Wrath of the Lich Queen - Bespoke Campaign World

August 2325

A post-dystopian apocalyptic Earth shattered by events of 2025.

This series of events (known as the Convergence) induced by unknown agents, left nations and people lost... destroying societies' fragile balances while delivering the stuff of dreams and nightmares.

In its wake, corrupt leaders, injustice and great suffering spawned wars that continued to smash at the very fabric our existence. At it's heart... Magic. After three centuries of fighting for and against it, Magic has won by attrition.

The old European countries have changed, some for good, some not so good. The most powerful faction is the expanded UK, ruled by its Lich Queen!

I originally wrote this document (in 2022) for a D&D 5e West Marches server, which unfortunately no longer exists. It seemed a shame that all this work was left rotting on an inactive server, so I thought I update it and share it with a wider audience.

Background and Lore (Players and DM's) [Please Note: 73 pages long!]
DM's Information (DM's) [Please Note: Still in development.]

I hope that you enjoy it.

I don't advice the creation of settings in alternate version of our real Earth certain tropes about other nations could cause some troubles. Other reason is some players don't feel confortable with stories where the religions from the real world don't wellcome arcane spellcasters.

I understand what you are saying, but it all depends on the group and players. For example, my local group are more than happy with it.

Just thought I would share this, so that others could benefit from using it if they wanted.
