If you can't use it there, you can't use it anywhere.Flipping casually though it didn't do anything for me. But actually reading Guide to Monsters at least sparked my imagination enough to give it another look.If I were new to D&D, is get Guide to Monsters in heart beat. But it competes with stuff like Complete Guide to Humanoids for my reading time. And I already have that.Embarrassment of riches, as it were.</blockquote>
