"I see that you are preparing to use the 'Vigorous Lotus Blossom' technique," observes Samidare. "Have you ever actually seen a lotus blossom, demon? They are among the least vigorous things imaginable. Though you will be even less vigorous than that, once I pound you into jelly."

Stepping into the Crane stance, Samidare musters his chi, then smites the pool once more, blasting its contents into the air and sending yet another wall of water flying towards Ash'lon. Then, making excellent use of his environment, he whips the chains upwards to wrap around the broken top of the tower, and yanks hard enough to pull a massive chunk of wall down upon his foe.

The crane blasts the sea; dominates the descent of the fortification!

"You are making many assumptions, human, and many of those assumptions are wrong. You think I prepare the lotus blossom move? Why should I? Apart from that move, I still have another useful tactic, one that seems much more appropriate to your attack. Shredding your watery assault with a magical shield as I drift up here, I can prepare to strike at you like a mace. Your effort is tremendous, but ultimately, that chunk of the tower will do nothing more than flatten a ricefield."

5: The mace drifts above the ricefield; shreds the efforts of the river!

Ash'lon's Last Hand:

1: The lotus blossom leaps by the heavens; averts the speed of the grave!

2: The mantis strikes the pillars; guards against the motion of the tides!

3: The panther impales the tower; grasps the descent of the flower!

4: The calm rat strikes on top of the volcano; removes the violence of the maze!

5: The panther nails the foothills; blocks the push of the elements!

Samidare's Last Hand:

1: The mace torments the clearing; defends against the touch of the grave!

2: The southern cross stands next to the atoll; conceals the offensive of the star!

3: The mantis speaks by the cliff; fends off the efforts of the fortification!

4: The hammer carves the cavern; quells the drive of the rodent!

5: The scythe drifts across the glade; silences the edge of the horn!

2: The mantis strikes the pillars; guards against the motion of the tides!

Deciding to act according his reputation again, Ash'lon strikes down the support pillars closest to Samidare, and then flies up to evade the eventual flood.

"You are not the only one who can spread destruction!

“You keep your greatest strength in reserve,” says Samidare, “so I must strike you down now, in this moment, before you may use it against me.” As Ash’lon attempts to flee the rising waters as a rat might flee a sinking ship, the young warrior grasps at him to quell his flight, and hammers at his defenses as a miner carves through solid stone, smashing the demon relentlessly with steady crushing blows.

The hammer carves the cavern; quells the drive of the rodent!

"I have to go with the hammering move this round..... this ends the match....."

Point and Match Samidare

8 Flags Ash'lon; 10 Flags and Match Samidare

Samidare... you have done very well this hard fought match... you advance to Brown Belt 0 with a record of 5 Wins and 2 Losses... you gain the folling: Sig Style: Hammer, a Dojo Style, another Fists of Fury and Master of Movement.... congrats and good luck in your next fight....

Ash'lon... you suffer your first loss.... seeing as you are a white belt you lose no rank or tier.. you just gain 1 Loss to your record... better luck next time....

Ash'lon laughs out loudly, viciously. "Well done Samidare, very well done. A very impressive victory!

You achieved in 18 rounds something that you should have achieved much, much earlier! Harha!

It may look like a victory to you now, human. But you will find that it was also a victory to ME!"

With that, Ash'lon leaves the ruins of the tower and flies back to the city to find a new challenge.

OOC - I believe that I won a yen?
