Now, I know there have been alot of these (Even on recently) but this is kind of a compilation of two ideas one that I read from the other guys and one I added, and I want to know if combined they are still balanced. The first, Sorcerors gain 0 spells per day (Modified by ability score) for each level one level sooner than they begin casting them. Ex: 0 lvl 3 spells at level 5, modified for higher ability score. This will allow for sooner entry into prestige classes, though only by one level, ie the same level as the wizard. The second, and I know it will seem kinda overpowered....but.....they also gain the bonus spells per day chart to spells known. Meaning that they will gain only one or two additional spells known for SOME levels, depending of course on higher ability scores. Reasoning is that although this puts alot of power into one stat, the wizards get the same benefit (almost) for Int AND Int counts toward skill points too.... Example of both rules together: A Sorceror with an 18 Cha at level 5 (Using the first change) would get 1 level 3 spell per day AND know 1 level 3 spell. Now this will allow the sorceror to cast Fireball at the same time as a Wizard, though only once..... So putting those two together.....would that be balanced? I don't want to change hit die or skill points (Though I did before...) because I feel the Warmage adequately covers these issues and incorporating them into the Sorceror almost phases out the Warmage. Now one final question. Would this be fair for ALL spontaneous casters (Favored Soul) only using whatever their ability score instead of Cha? Please let me know.
