Yet Another Monk Class

First Post
Hey Everyone, when I discovered that Monk wasn't going to be making it into the Player's Handbook 2, I set about designing one for my regular game.

Attached is what I have come up with, and whilst it has yet to be playtested, I'm interested to know if anyone can spot glaring errors or problems.

I've aimed the class at a mix between striker and controller, giving the player options to lean more strongly towards either aspect.

Enjoy!

Well, I haven't downloaded your file because it's a Word document, and I hate those . . . so I'll go ahead and attempt to derail your thread by mentioning that it's been announced that a playtest of the official monk will be coming out some time in May.

Now that that's out of the way, hopefully others will come in here with some good feedback for your version :)

Well here is a quick, silly and literal response to how you worded

"This bonus is lost if the monk ever wears Heavy or Hide armour."

So that means when I sneak in to the camp and put armor on him he never ever again gets a bonus from his ability? ;-). How about "While wearing heavy or hide armor he gains no bonus from this ability."

Maybe a little more constructive
I always thought real monks as being strikers with dash of defender... guess Kwai Chang Kane is not the model.
I miss descriptions for the visualizations for the moves... they lack skin.
