Hrmm BM anything else to say besides posting the stats of the two Fiend lords which I just got done reading last night.... Personally the powers of the staff are up to G'baal it is his territory I think that something that creates fiends, and controls them would be more suitable for the not dead Dark King of the DF equivilant to hell. I am sure that he does handle the Domain of Death or did before his powers were blocked by the destruction of the Gate of Dusk. But for his ultimate weapon I would think that it should be something for fiendish creations. Also how did the staff enter into the world anyhow Was it in a last battle of the First Fiend wars when the Avatar of Yogsathoth was slain and the Staff of Numer fell into the hands of the Mortal kings. Also here is the Celestial Hunter. Melechadar Set on an endless quest to destroy the evil that lurks behind the fiendish hosts of Numer Melchadar comes from the line of Poledaurios. Alone in the war torn world of mortals Melchadar was sent at the close of the first fiend wars into the world below to root out and destroy the remnant of the Lore of the Dark King, he who is Numadan*. He is a character much out of step with his surroundings, one who accepts the will of the Dying gods whose voices within him push him further towards his fate despite the chasm between their will and his own. He knows that the task he has been given is not an easy road to follow, and that good does not triumph absolutely. Nor is evil absolutely destroyed. Slowly over the last few centuries he has learned a few of the substantial facts. Arriving to late to capture the enthralled creature of Numadan in the city of Myriam when the fiends broke down the walls, and stormed the peaceful streets. Knowing that the boy-demon known as Draako would one day tear at the fabric of the already raveled world he has let the consuming power of the dying gods flow through him so that when his last battle comes he will be prepared to take on that which is not truly mortal. Melchadar and the Staff. In the shadowy realm of Numer the Dark King Yogsathoth shaped for himself a great staff of power from the tainted branch of the Sacred world tree...And a great portion of the Yogsathoth’s power passed into the Stave at its shaping, and the evil of his being was tied unto the staff that he might not be vanquished until the staff had been tossed into the fiery core of the worlds inner fire. * The Celestial Name of Yogsathoth taken from the Tome of Athar Melchadar celestial Wdm12: CR 12; Size M (6 ft., 4 in. tall); HD 12d10+12; hp 82; Init +4 (+4 Dex); Spd 30 ft.; AC 18 (+4 Dex, +4 Studded leather +1); Attack +15/+10/+5 melee, or +16/+11/+6 ranged; SV Fort +9, Ref +8, Will +6; AL NG; Str 17, Dex 19, Con 12, Int 16, Wis 14, Cha 17.
