Actually I do agree with BM mostly about the poorly run DF stuff and non of the good well written stuff out and about I know that BM has been collecting and is still collecting artwork and what have you for this site and I remember early on that he was one of the main primary contributers to DF. BM what I was saying about everyone doing a little is just this (Using me for an example) I live in a poor community, I work two jobs, and right now I am doing two jobs with a broken leg, Legal troubles, and a sick mother. Yet I devote a little bit of my time to DF every day. As little as 1-2 hours a day. I know that this might not be what every one can do or wants to do ( Yeah I know RL is more important than the setting) but it is just what I have regimented my day to do. I am truthfully frustrated that we haven't heard from people that are still on this project but I find them posting PRC's and House Rules elsewhere. Understandable, yes likable, no. I was not even close to being here at the start of the project. I still have issues with bits of history or small little nothings from one area or the other. But I try to get this setting out. I work on Monsters and only G'baal has posted to say hey that is a good Idea. I have posted some artwork and nobody posted to say yeah that is a good start or anything (Refering to the Rough Abbaye map) I want feedback that is why I post. I don't truthfully care what happens with what I post after its out there other than eventually that stressful few hours of work each night is rewarded with...well...anything. BM for instance you have posted here twice now with no feedback (Suggestions about this or that or how to work it around) And I posted everything with the No Gods rule in mind that is why you will see the used to be the God of... in the four minions above. I truthfully feal that G'baal has contributed a whole new depth to the DF. After all if the Setting is not even a part ofa Multiverse then where did the Fiends and the angels come from. Yogsathoth answers the Question with the Seven Lands of Numer, and The Seven Gates ( One of which being the Gate of Dusk) These "Gods" of the Numer have no powers over the mortal realms, they were cut off when the First Gate that of Dusk was destroyed. The minions of those Demon Lords do still roam the lands the most powerful of which are the Fiend Lords. G'Baal what I was saying about not documenting all of the Minions of Yogsathoth is that we should draw a line say 6 No more then we pick those six from a pool if you will of our descriptive bunch, and write them up leaving the rest to the imagination of the DM's that run in the DF. This is the style of the DF Setting that has been established with such things as the fiend lords, and the smaller fiendish minions of the fiend lords. After all their are countless numbers of fiends that still recall dimly their Dark King Yogsathoth, and there countless Celestials who still remember the foul one known as Numadan the Destroyer. It is to overwhelming to begin to name and stat up all of those millions upon millions of minions so pick the few and leave all else to DM descretion. That doesn't mean that you can not casually throw in a fiendish minions name here or there. It just means keep your work load down and only give stats for his first tier associates. As for the written work need I would have a section dedicated to Yogsathoth the being without going into much more than him as an individual Then follow with his items, his mind slave, and the Celestial that hunts him. Then at the end of the article give his draako's and the Celestial Hunters stats ( the last is already done completely) and side bar his Staff, and the Three stones of power. Then in a separate piece talk of Numer as I wrote the little descriptives expand on them a little to fill them out, and then put his minions stats here with a brief bio on each of them and where they are at whether in the World above or in Numer. My Bestiary will include most the normal daemons, and your template which I like alot. As well as a few other DF specific monsters from regions throughout the world. Perhaps new creatures specific to the Bygone erra such as the creature Ys and the like. That is what I want really is a Monster Idea pad somewhere so throw out DF Setting Monster Ideas. Creatures that are neither fiend nor mortal, nor of heaven who devour the souls of all and are the bane of the Pale lord. Just throw out the Ideas and then will select the coolest of them for the Bestiary.
