2 things- 1: Other things work for feats. Gloves of Dex can meet the prereq for Two Weapon Fighting. 2: Goliaths meet a number of feats for large characters in Races of Stone. True, they are specifically spelled out, but... When I first read the Mountain Rage ability, I loved it. I actually like the idea of a smaller, weaker looking Goliath who "Hulks out", as it were. Mix that with the alternate rage ability from PHB 2, and you have a character who is built pretty well and, when hurt enough, freaks out and grows. That's about all that I have as a way that could make sense. Has it been specifically forbidden by Wizards? Yes. Do I think that it could still be cool and not at all broken. Absolutely. Then again, I'm not the sort of punk who immediately tries to break everything I come across. Those are the people that cause people to look at Hulking Hurler and say, "No. I've seen [insert logically ridiculous build]! This won't go in my game!" I think that it would be possible and interesting to create a Goliath Barbarian with a low strength and a high intelligence and have him "Hulk out" and throw stuff around. After all, when you no longer meet the Prerequisites, you don't have the abilities. All of the strength would go away, but so would No Time To Think.
