I have to plead reverse dungeon on this one as well. Our group plays a lot of monster-as-PC shorts. Goblins is definitely the most memorable. Each player had a single goblin champion with a PC class. There was also a small pool of goblin warriors we got to use as grogs. And you need grogs when you're a goblin. There was also a very small pack of "worgs" that could be bribed into helping us. I quote worgs because they were really just talking wolves. Our first quest, and all the glory implied, was the Raid On Chickencoop. As the champions we had to make sure the tribe was fed. So we sneak onto this largish farm and scope the place out for some grub. The rogue figures that chickens are the easiest pickings and heads for the henhouse. By this time the sentry that we failed to see on our stealthy incursion has started shouting because near a dozen goblins are in the front yard. Inevitably all hell breaks loose. While our tough guy is chasing around the sentry with with his screaming grogs in tow the rogue has fallen into the chicken-coop. An explosion of clucking and feathers follows. Another squad of grogs views this as the opportune moment to open the coop and start sacking birds. Goblins grappling chickens. This is high adventure. Somewhere along the line our spellcaster figured spooking the horses the horses was part of the plan. In an attempt to create a stampede she is nearly trampled to death and expends much of her valued healing power to save her own life. Off in the distance our rogue screams with victory as he no doubt sneak attacks another chicken for his sack. Our tough guy, who was so thirsty for blood the whole pre-game, is now seen fleeing toward our healer. Behind him the only battle-ready human on the field, armed with a greataxe. I distinctly remember the player saying, "Do we have enough chickens yet? We've got to get the hell out of here!" A bit more of a battle ensued and we elected to fail our morale checks. We got enough food to eat for a while (even more so with the grogs we lost). Quite a fun game. It didn't last long. I think our final adventure was trying to kick some kobolds out of a cave so that we could settle down. It did not go at all well.
